In drilling operations, the availability, accuracy, and timely delivery of materials and equipment are critical to maintaining operational continuity, cost control, and safety. Delays or inaccuracies in inventory and materials management can lead to costly non-productive time (NPT), operational inefficiencies, and even safety incidents. Given the high logistical complexity and technical requirements of drilling activities—especially in remote or offshore locations—an effective inventory and materials management system is essential.
